shelpike: Hi Everyone, I am a happily married mother of three and an elementary school teacher with the Greater Essex County District Board. I have taught many different grades and have worked in the Program Department as an Instructional Coach and as a Mathematics Coach. I believe that school should be a fun and engaging place to learn and grow (for kids and adults alike!). Technology provides students with a means to reach authentic audiences and to communicate in a variety of meaningful ways. I am currently working on my Master's of Educational Technology degree at the University of British Columbia where I am learning new ways to ensure my students are prepared for the socially connected world they live in. I also teach courses at the University of Windsor to help teachers learn ways to effectively integrate technology into their teaching. I love sharing my learning with others.
